Split system cleaning in Toormina
Toormina is a handy, family-friendly suburb just south of Coffs Harbour, close enough to the coast for the salt air and humidity but with a quieter, suburban feel. Maxi Refresh AC cleans and sanitises air conditioners for homes and small businesses across Toormina and the surrounding Mid North Coast.
A regular deep clean can help your unit run more efficiently and keep the air in your home or business cleaner. We strip down, clean and sanitise the parts that affect your air and running costs — filters, coil, fan barrel and drain tray — then document it.
For a suburb full of family homes and small shops, a 12-monthly clean is a simple way to stay ahead of the mould and dust that build up over a humid year. It can help your split system keep up on the hot afternoons and may help reduce what's being blown around the room when the unit switches on.
Why a clean matters by the coast
Toormina might be a touch inland, but it still cops the warm, humid Mid North Coast weather that makes mould feel right at home inside a split system. When the air is damp, moisture collects on the indoor coil and in the drain tray, and the dust that settles there gives mould something to grow on. Before long the airflow can drop and a musty smell can appear when the unit runs.
A hygienic clean clears the dust and mould from the parts you can't easily see, so the unit can breathe freely again. It can help your system cool with less effort, and it may help reduce what's being blown around the room — which can be a help for anyone with allergies or asthma.
