Split system cleaning in Bellingen
Bellingen is a lush, leafy town set back in the hills behind the coast, where the valley green and the bush surrounds keep the air damp and the pollen thick through the warmer months. Dust, pollen and the moisture that lingers in the gullies all find their way inside a split system over time. Maxi Refresh AC cleans and sanitises air conditioners for homes and small businesses across Bellingen and the surrounding Mid North Coast.
We strip down, clean and sanitise the parts that affect your air and running costs — the filters, indoor coil, fan barrel and drain tray — then document the difference. A regular deep clean can help your unit run more efficiently and keep the air in your home or workplace cleaner, even when the valley is doing its best to fill it with dust and pollen.
A 12-monthly clean is a simple way to stay ahead of the build-up in a town like Bellingen, where the bush and the damp keep working on your air conditioner all year. Our schedule changes week to week, so book online and we'll confirm a time that suits you.
Why a clean matters in the hinterland
Bellingen's valley setting means your air conditioner is dealing with dust, pollen and the cool, damp air that pools in the gullies. The pollen that drifts in from the surrounding bush settles on the indoor coil and louvres, while the moisture in the air gives mould a place to grow inside the unit. Over a season the airflow can drop and a musty smell can appear when the system runs.
A deep clean clears the dust, pollen and mould from the parts you can't easily see, so the unit can breathe freely again. It can help your system cool the room with less effort, and it may help reduce what's being blown around the room — which can be a real help through the spring, when the pollen in Bellingen is at its thickest.
