Split system cleaning in Valla
Valla is a quiet coastal pocket where the sea air is never far away, and the salt and humidity that come with it settle inside your split system over time. Maxi Refresh AC cleans and sanitises air conditioners for homes and small businesses across Valla and the surrounding Mid North Coast, from the homes near the beach to the small businesses dotted through the area.
We strip down, clean and sanitise the parts that affect your air and running costs — the filters, indoor coil, fan barrel and drain tray — then document the difference. A regular deep clean can help your unit run more efficiently and keep the air in your home or workplace cleaner, and it may help your system hold up against the damp, salty air that comes with living this close to the coast.
A yearly clean is one of the simplest ways to look after a split system in Valla. It can help keep the salt and mould under control before they start to affect the airflow, and it gives you a clear record of what was done. Our schedule changes week to week, so book online and we'll confirm a time that suits you.
Why a clean matters by the coast
Valla's coastal position means your air conditioner is drawing in salt and moisture whenever it runs. Salt spray drifts through open doors and windows and settles on the indoor coil and louvres, while the humid air creates the warm, damp conditions mould loves. Over a season that build-up can quietly narrow the airflow and leave a stale, musty smell whenever the system switches on.
A deep clean clears the salt, dust and mould from the coil, filters and drain tray so the unit can move air freely again. It can help your system cool the room with less effort, and it may help reduce the dust and mould spores being pushed back into the room — which can make a real difference for anyone who feels it when the coastal air in the house gets heavy and damp.
