Specialist split system cleaning and sanitising for homes and small businesses in Scotts Head and the surrounding Mid North Coast.
Split system cleaning in Scotts Head
Scotts Head is a small coastal village where the sea breeze is a way of life — and where that same salt-laden air drifts indoors and settles inside your split system. Maxi Refresh AC cleans and sanitises air conditioners for homes and small businesses across Scotts Head and the surrounding Mid North Coast.
We strip down, clean and sanitise the parts that affect your air and running costs — the filters, indoor coil, fan barrel and drain tray — then document the difference. A regular deep clean can help your unit run more efficiently and keep the air in your home or business cleaner, and it may help your system hold up against the salt and humidity that come with living this close to the water.
A yearly clean is a simple way to stay ahead of the mould and salt that build up over a season by the coast, and our schedule changes week to week — so book online and we'll confirm a time that suits.
Why a clean matters by the coast
Scotts Head's oceanfront location means your air conditioner is breathing in salt and moisture every time it runs. Salt spray drifts through open doors and settles on the indoor coil and louvres, while the humid coastal air creates the warm, damp conditions mould thrives in. Over a season that build-up can narrow the airflow and leave a musty smell whenever the system switches on — often the first sign that something needs attention inside the unit.
A thorough clean clears the salt, dust and mould from the coil, filters and drain tray so the unit can move air freely again. It can help your system reach your set temperature without working as hard, and it may help reduce the dust and mould being blown back into the room — which can be a relief for anyone who feels the difference when the coastal air in the house gets heavy.
Our schedule changes week to week. Book online and we'll confirm a time that suits you.
