Split system cleaning in Macksville
Macksville is a handy river town with a warm, humid climate that keeps air conditioners working hard for most of the year. The moisture in the air, along with the dust and pollen that drift in from the surrounding paddocks and bush, settles inside a split system over time. Maxi Refresh AC cleans and sanitises air conditioners for homes and small businesses across Macksville and the surrounding Mid North Coast.
We strip down, clean and sanitise the parts that affect your air and running costs — the filters, indoor coil, fan barrel and drain tray — then document the difference. A regular deep clean can help your unit run more efficiently and keep the air in your home or workplace cleaner, and it may help your system hold its own on the long, sticky afternoons that Macksville can throw at it.
A 12-monthly clean is one of the simplest ways to look after a split system here. It can help keep the mould and dust under control before they start to affect the airflow, and it gives you a clear record of what was done. Our schedule changes week to week, so book online and we'll confirm a time that suits you.
Why a clean matters by the coast
Macksville's warm, humid climate means your air conditioner is dealing with damp air most of the year. Moisture collects on the indoor coil and in the drain tray, and the dust and pollen that blow in from the surrounding farmland give mould something to grow on. Before long the airflow can drop, the unit can start working harder, and a musty smell can appear when it runs.
A hygienic clean clears the dust, pollen and mould from the parts you can't easily see, so the unit can breathe freely again. It can help your system reach your set temperature with less effort, and it may help reduce what's being blown around the room — which can be a help for anyone whose nose and chest feel it when the air in the house gets heavy.
